The University of Central Florida Partners with IGI Global to Support Open Access Publishing -

IGI Global has announced a new partnership with the University of Central Florida (UCF) to support Open Access (OA) publishing. UCF has invested in an OA fund to enable its faculty and staff to publish their research through IGI Global's OA agreement. The agreement will cover Article Processing Charges (APCs) for UCF faculty members who opt to publish their research in OA format.

This move by UCF underscores its commitment to promoting the OA movement and supporting its faculty's research. By publishing their research under OA, UCF's faculty members will gain increased discoverability and higher citation impact, as well as contribute to important bodies of emerging knowledge.

IGI Global's rigorous double-blind peer review process ensures that only high-quality research will be accepted for publication under the OA agreement. The agreement will also enable UCF to add to its repository of high-quality publications, further enhancing its research profile.

IGI Global's flexible OA agreements offer a range of options for institutions and libraries to support their faculty's research. The company encourages other libraries to engage with them to learn more about how they can support the OA movement through an OA agreement.
