STM publisher Thieme Publishing Group, Germany, has announced the publication of the first articles from its new open access journal Skull Base Reports. A companion to Skull Base: An interdisciplinary approach, the new publication includes case reports and clinical findings from all fields related to skull base surgery, including otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, maxillo-facial surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, neuro-radiology, neurosurgery, and plastic surgery.
All case reports will be available to read or download for free via the Thieme eJournals platform. Additionally this open-access journal offers two free print issues a year for distribution to all print subscribers of its sister publication.
Dr. Michael Gleeson of Kings College London and Dr. Dennis Kraus of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center New York lead the diverse editorial team behind Skull Base and its new companion journal. Two experienced skull base surgeons, Dr. Derek Lin and Dr. Rupert Obholzer, have been appointed as assistant editors for Skull Base Reports.
