Scientific publisher Thieme Chemistry has announced a new 'Thieme Chemistry Author Map.' More than 1600 well-known chemists from all over the world work for Thieme Chemistry. They write for the reference works Science of Synthesis and Pharmaceutical Substances and the online encyclopaedia RÖMPP as authors, contribute to monographs or are members of the editorial boards of SYNTHESIS, SYNLETT and SYNFACTS. The new 'Thieme Chemistry Author Map' presents author details such as who the authors are, where they work and to which publications and databases they contribute, in an interactive format.
The map features Thieme Chemistry authors coming from 46 countries on six continents. Most of them work in Europe, Japan or the USA, for instance at the Max Planck Institute, Harvard University, the University of Tokyo or at well-known pharmaceutical and chemical companies. Researchers from Iceland, French Guinea and South Africa are also represented.
In addition, the map includes an interactive list which can be searched for different criteria. Who is from Singapore or Berlin or who works at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology? The 'Thieme Chemistry Author Map' provides an overview of the authors working for the publisher and closely links each author to the Thieme publications they contributed to.
With its scientific publications, Thieme Chemistry provides chemists in research, science and industry with highly evaluated specialist information on synthetic, organic and general chemistry. All products of Thieme are available in electronic format and predominantly in English language.
