STM publisher Thieme Publishing Group, Germany, has announced that 'Thieme Teaching Assistant,' a web-based platform for teachers and students, launched in 2008, now contains full-colour images from three of Thieme's bestselling physiology and pharmacology titles.
'Thieme Teaching Assistant Physiology' includes 200 full-colour images from Physiology-An Illustrated Review, by Roger TannerThies, and over 700 high-quality images from Michael et al.'s Fundamentals of Medical Physiology.
'Thieme Teaching Assistant Pharmacology' features all images from Pharmacology: An Illustrated Review, by Mark A. Simmons. The text contains content students must master for classroom and USMLE success.
The Thieme Teaching Assistant is projected as an ideal companion to the Thieme E-Book Library, (ebooks.thieme.com), the online destination for knowledge in medicine and related basic sciences. This resource enables lecturers to incorporate dynamic visuals into their presentations and course packs to present complex concepts with unprecedented clarity and to enhance and reinforce their students' knowledge. The platform can be accessed live in the classroom for reference during lectures. Students can use the clear, full-colour images for review, study, and self-assessment.
