Designed to provide access to hard-to-get trademark insight, Search with Opinion enables trademark professionals to successfully launch and expand global brands through the supplemental opinion information provided by local experts. A Thomson Reuters clearance search provides the information needed to assess the availability of a proposed trademark, while the new opinion offering gives trademark filers access to the Thomson Reuters network of regional trademark professionals, enabling them to identify potential conflicting marks that otherwise might be missed.
Search with Opinion is available for trademark professionals doing business or clearing marks in regions that include Asia Pacific, South America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The offering, available as an add-on with a Full Search or Availability Search, includes access to a thoroughly vetted network of attorneys in these regions. The legal opinion results are provided in a uniform template, eliminating the need to work with multiple search reports and legal opinions in different formats.
