Information solutions provider Thomson Scientific, part of Thomson Corporation, US, has announced the three winners of its 2007 International Quantum2 InfoStar Awards. The Awards are presented annually to information professionals whose achievements serve as role models for others in their industry.
This year's recipients, as announced during a special ceremony at the recently concluded Online Information 2007 conference in London are: Dr. Pawel Grochowski, assistant professor, Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling, Warsaw University (Poland); Dennie Heye, information scientist, Shell International Exploration and Production B.V. (Netherlands); and Ashima Aggarwal, knowledge manager, Evalueserve, (India), honored for successfully creating the Knowledge Management department in her organisation.
The company annually designates recipients of its InfoStar Awards in several regions worldwide as part of its Quantum2 program that offers professional education and career development services to information professionals globally.
