SLACK Incorporated is pleased to announce the promotion of Tony Schiavo to Senior Vice President. In his new role, Tony will lead the SLACK Journals team, managing the company's extensive portfolio of journals, which includes some of the most respected publications in nursing, ophthalmology, and general medicine.
Tony will oversee all aspects of journal publishing, including product development, editorial processes, production, marketing, sales, and fulfillment. He will also work closely with Jennifer Kilpatrick, Vice President of Editorial at SLACK Incorporated, to ensure the continued success and growth of SLACK’s journal offerings.
With six years of leadership experience at SLACK Incorporated, Tony has been instrumental in directing the acquisitions efforts for several key SLACK Books lines. More recently, he spearheaded the launch of SLACK’s new journal hosting product, Healio Journal Host. His extensive background in business, sales, acquisitions, and marketing uniquely positions him to drive the development and growth strategy for SLACK Journals in the coming years.
