Touch Briefings, a wholly owned subsidiary of Touch Group plc, has announced that its clinical journal European Urological Review has been accepted for indexing in Scopus.
Scopus aims to provide comprehensive, authoritative and reliable coverage of biomedical literature, enabling clinicians and medical researchers to capture the most relevant, up-to-date information published in the clinical domain.
Scopus claims to be the world's largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. It includes about 41 million records from over 18,000 titles. This includes 100 percent of Medline coverage. It is used by academics, biomedical scientists, regulatory and pharma professionals.
With deep indexing criteria and a powerful search function, it is expected that Scopus will increase the exposure of the journal's articles by including them in a recognised central repository for the global scientific community.
