New OA peer-reviewed medical journal Tremor and Other Hyperkinetic Movements (TOHM) has published its first articles with the support of The Charlesworth Group and the Center for Digital Research and Scholarship, Columbia University Libraries/Information Services (CDRS).
TOHM centers on tremor and hyperkinetic movement disorders, giving home to clinical observations and research in this area. The CDRS provides editorial support, software, design, and hosting for the journal. The Charlesworth Group provides CDRS with copyediting, XML conversion services and HTML rendering, and PDF typesetting, for the scholarly articles published in the journal.
Because of The Charlesworth Group's experience in working with publishers of medical research, CDRS has begun coordinating the deposit of research published in Tremor to Pub Med Central. Further, CDRS is looking to extend the range of service by opening up a print-on-demand service for articles published in Tremor through Charlesworth Press.
