UC Press expands course material offerings for Higher Education -

Beginning Fall 2016, University of California Press will broaden its over 100 year educational commitment by growing its presence through its Higher Education publishing program. Recognised as one of the most forward-thinking publishers in the world, UC Press has championed work that influences public discourse and challenges the status quo across multiple fields of study.

As a non-profit division of the University of California, UC Press consistently provides faculty and students with high-quality course books for upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses across the social sciences, humanities, and sciences. In response to faculty's requests for content that advances student understanding of developing themes in their respective fields, UC Press will expand its development of high-quality, peer-reviewed content intended for adoption and use in classes.

UC Press is actively seeking authors for its expanded Higher Education program. UC Press encourages authors to submit proposals in Sociology, Anthropology, History, and Environmental Studies, as well as newer areas for the Press, such as Communication and Psychology. Proposals are also being accepted in other disciplinary areas as well.
