Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, has announced that the University of Central Missouri (UCM) has chosen the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform and Ex Libris Primo® discovery and delivery solution to replace the university's Innovative Sierra integrated library system.
After a rigorous three-year evaluation process, the University of Central Missouri selected the Alma platform and Primo solution to meet the information needs of students and faculty, who are increasingly accessing information electronically for teaching, learning, and research. The university required a library system that is easy to use, simple to maintain, flexible, and customisable. Also of importance to UCM was system architecture that was built from the outset to handle electronic formats and that is future proof, enabling the library to add new applications as technology changes.
