The University of Minnesota, Minneapolis has named Dr. Carol A. Lange as Editor-in-Chief of Endocrinology, the flagship basic science journal of the Endocrine Society, effective January 2021.
Lange has attended every annual meeting of the Endocrine Society since she joined in 1996. She has routinely chaired sessions, reviewed abstracts, judged posters, and led ‘Meet the Expert’ discussions. Her research is focused on the role of steroid hormone receptors (SRs) in breast and ovarian cancers. She holds the Tickle Family Land Grant Endowed Chair of Breast Cancer Research, has served on several NIH Study Sections, and is currently on the Board of Scientific Advisors to the NIEHS.
