University of Queensland selects Ex Libris Alma and Primo for resource management and discovery -

Ex Libris, a ProQuest® company, has announced that The University of Queensland (UQ) in Brisbane, Australia, has selected the Ex Libris® Alma® resource management solution and the Primo® discovery solution, replacing the University's previous Innovative Interfaces library system.

UQ Library evaluated a number of different products before selecting Alma and Primo. A combination of the solutions' powerful functionality and their well-defined roadmap plans made them the leading choice.

The University of Queensland has made significant contributions to Queensland, Australia and the world. UQ consistently sits well inside the world's top 100 in all main university rankings tables; two of those currently rank UQ in the world's top 50. UQ is committed to excellence of learning experiences and outcomes. This is one of many reasons UQ is the preferred university of the majority of Queensland's most able and highly qualified students. The 2015 Excellence in Research for Australia assessment ranked all UQ's research at world standard or above.
