University of Utah selects next-generation Ex Libris Alma library management service -

Library automation solutions provider Ex Libris Group has announced that the University of Utah has selected the next-generation Ex Libris Alma library management service.

Having implemented the Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution as a single search interface for the university library's local and global collections, Alma now provides the University of Utah a unified solution for managing all its resources at its Marriott Library, Eccles Health Sciences Library, Quinney Law Library, and McKay Music Library.

Alma is delivered on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis and as such is upgraded, enhanced, and maintained without the involvement of library staff.

The University of Utah serves over 31,000 students from across the United States and the world. With over 72 major subjects at the undergraduate level and more than 90 major fields of study at the graduate level, including law and medicine, the university prepares students to live and compete in the global workplace.
