Veterinary technicians to receive more CE Credits through Veterinary Technician journal -

Veterinary Learning Systems, a division of MediMedia USA, has announced that effective with the February issue, the continuing education (CE) credits offered in the monthly journal Veterinary Technician will be increased to 1 credit hour for each CE article.

Previously, only 0.5 CE credits were available per published CE article. CE credits are awarded by Alfred State College, a State University of New York (SUNY) College of Technology. After careful review, the college agreed to increase the amount of CE awarded for each article. VLS will continue to offer CE tests free to qualified technicians.

Veterinary Learning Systems offers a range of services to the animal health industry, including a professional service center, meetings management, fulfillment, and project development in print, interactive, video, and web formats. Core products include the flagship publication Compendium, the popular Veterinary Forum, official AAEP media partner Compendium Equine, and Veterinary Technician, the only monthly clinical journal for the entire health care team.
