Virginia Military Institute (VMI), the oldest state-supported military college in the United States, has selected the open-source FOLIO Library Services Platform (LSP) with implementation support from EBSCO Information Services. The transition, facilitated by EBSCO’s FOLIO Services team, is set to be completed by Summer 2025.
VMI’s Preston Library, a cornerstone of the institute’s academic environment, will benefit from FOLIO’s modular and flexible architecture. The new system promises to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve the overall research experience for students and staff.
