The VitalSource Bookshelf platform includes titles in its UK store from leading publishers Wiley, Taylor & Francis, SAGE Publications, Kogan Page, Springer, Palgrave Macmillan Higher Education and others. Students and faculty have multiple content purchase options available to them including direct student purchase and purchase through an institution's virtual learning environment (VLE).
E-textbooks from Vital Source can be downloaded, and used online and offline on a variety of device types including Mac®, Windows®, iPad®, Kindle Fire® and Android™. Regardless of the content option used, all work, including notes, highlights and annotations, automatically syncs across devices. The VitalSource Bookshelf platform supports 25 languages for worldwide learning.
