Library automation solutions provider Ex Libris Group has announced that the University Libraries of Washington University in St. Louis have selected a cloud-based installation of the Primo discovery and delivery solution. Washington University, a member of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), has also subscribed to the bX Recommender, one of the bX suite of usage-based services.
Washington University chose Primo after evaluating the major commercial products in the discovery market. The university's analysis showed that Primo offers a unique combination of a fully supported cloud environment and optimal flexibility for the library.
