WebWorks unveils latest version of ePublisher platform -

WebWorks.com, part of publishing platform solutions developer Quadralay Corporation, US, has announced the summer 2009 release of its ePublisher platform, WebWorks ePublisher 2009.2. The tool allows content developers to automate the publication and deployment of information to the Confluence wiki format.

ePublisher 2009.2 also adds FrameMaker 9 to the list of supported authoring environments, allowing users of the latest version of Adobe's technical writing tool to leverage the multi-channel publishing power available through the WebWorks product. ePublisher now supports all versions of FrameMaker from version 6 upwards as well as input from Microsoft Word (up to and including Word 2007), and any DITA-XML compliant editor.

The latest additions are claimed to make WebWorks ePublisher a powerful, fully featured and flexible publishing platform for converting and deploying content for online delivery.

Existing WebWorks customers with active maintenance or subscription contracts will be automatically shipped a copy of ePublisher 2009.2 at no additional cost.
