Wiley Analytical Lab combines Spectral Search, Compound Identification, and Data Management -

Wiley has launched Wiley Analytical Lab, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides researchers with access to spectral reference data, compound identification tools, and analytical data management capabilities through a browser-based environment.

The platform integrates three Wiley tools: SpectraBase, which enables users to search millions of reference spectra; KnowItAll AnyWare, which allows researchers to upload experimental spectra and identify unknown compounds; and Wiley Data Hub, which supports the management, validation, publication, and sharing of analytical datasets.

The platform is designed to bring these capabilities together in a single online environment, addressing the challenges researchers face when working across separate systems, locally installed software, and disconnected data repositories. It supports activities ranging from spectral searches and compound identification to analytical data management and dataset publication.

According to Wiley, the platform builds on its expertise in spectral data and scientific publishing. Its browser-based architecture is intended to support researchers working across different instruments, data formats, locations, and teams through a vendor-neutral environment.

Wiley Analytical Lab also complements the company's recently introduced spectroscopy API portfolio and extends capabilities available through its KnowItAll desktop software.

The platform will initially be available through KnowItAll Campus-Wide Solutions for universities and KnowItAll Complete Multi-User Licensing for corporate and government organizations.
