Wiley, a leading publisher and a global leader in research and learning, has announced a new open access agreement with the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS) Consortium, launched on March 1, 2024.
This represents Wiley’s first open access agreement to provide nation-wide coverage for academic institutions in the Republic of Korea. The agreement will provide participating KERIS institutions with reading access to Wiley’s journal portfolio and enable affiliated researchers to publish open access in Wiley’s portfolio of over 1,300 hybrid open access journals.
For many years, the KERIS Consortium has been supporting university libraries in various national projects, and actively negotiated for and secured this agreement with Wiley in 2023.
Wiley has strong momentum in advancing open access partnerships, having signed more than 80 agreements around the globe, including with academic institutions across Korea.
