Wiley, one of the world’s largest publishers and a global leader in research and learning, has announced a new three-year open access agreement with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia, beginning on January 1, 2024.
This represents the first open access agreement between a Saudi Arabian institution and Wiley. It will provide KAUST scholars with reading access to Wiley’s complete journal portfolio and enable KAUST researchers to publish in Wiley’s hybrid open access journal portfolio, which includes over 1,300 journals.
Wiley has strong momentum in advancing open access partnerships, having signed more than 80 agreements around the globe, including with institutions in Qatar and Türkiye.
