Wiley, one of the world’s largest publishers and a global leader in scientific research and career-connected education, has announced a new three-year open access agreement with The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM), effective January 1, 2023.
This agreement is the first of its kind in Türkiye and includes all Turkish universities, with the option to add newly established universities with no additional fee. Participants can read and publish in Wiley’s complete portfolio of nearly 2,000 hybrid and gold open access journals, including Hindawi journals. Researchers affiliated with 236 institutions across Türkiye can publish more than 4,500 articles open access during the three-year agreement.
Wiley has strong momentum in advancing open access partnerships, having signed more than 60 agreements around the globe. This year alone, Wiley has established many new agreements which span countries, including Canada, Hong Kong, and the Czech Republic.
