Wiley and University of Macau in deal to support open access research -

Wiley, one of the world’s largest publishers and a global leader in research and learning, has announced a new 3-year open access agreement with the University of Macau. Beginning January 1, 2024, this collaboration marks the first of its kind between a Macau institution and Wiley, promising to revolutionize the accessibility and dissemination of research.

Under the deal, scholars affiliated with the University of Macau will gain unprecedented reading access to Wiley's illustrious journal portfolio, empowering them with invaluable resources to fuel their academic endeavors. Additionally, the partnership extends a remarkable opportunity for researchers at the University of Macau to publish open access articles across Wiley's comprehensive portfolio of nearly 2,000 hybrid and fully gold open access journals.

With a robust momentum in forging partnerships worldwide, Wiley has solidified its position as a leader in fostering inclusive and accessible research dissemination. Having inked over 80 agreements across the globe, including collaborations with esteemed institutions throughout the Asia-Pacific region, Wiley continues to spearhead transformative practices in scholarly publishing.
