Publisher John Wiley & Sons, Inc, US, has announced that three researchers have been selected as the recipients of the fifth annual 'Young Chemist Award', which Wiley organises in conjunction with the Chinese Chemical Society (CCS). The Chinese Chemical Society is one of the founding partners of Chemistry - An Asian Journal, published by Wiley.
The award announcement was made at the opening ceremony of 26th Chinese Chemical Congress in Tianjin, China. Dr. Zhangjie Shi from the Peking University, Dr. Shu-Li You from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry at the Chinese Academy of Science and Dr. Chun-an Hong from the Chinese Science & Technology University at Hefei were named as this year's award winners.
Sponsored by Wiley and now into its fifth year, this award was created to recognise and promote the development of young talent in the field of chemistry. In addition, it also serves to foster research excellence in chemistry publishing, and acknowledges the contributions of the Chinese chemistry community to Wiley's continuing success in China.
