Wiley-Blackwell increases publication frequency of materials science journals -

Wiley-Blackwell, the STM and scholarly publishing business of John Wiley & Sons, Inc., US, has announced that it will double the publishing frequencies of its materials science journal Advanced Materials and nanoscience journal Small in 2009.

Advanced Materials and Small are two of the most-cited journals in materials science, with Institute for Scientific Information 2007 Impact Factors of 8.191 and 6.408, respectively.

Advanced Materials celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2008, having published critically important articles in materials science for the past two decades. Small was launched in 2005 as a journal dedicated to the worldwide explosion of interest in micro- and nanotechnology.
