Wiley-Blackwell, the STM and scholarly publishing business of John Wiley & Sons, Inc, US, has announced that it will be publishing a new diabetes journal titled Journal of Diabetes Investigation from 2010. Nigishi Hotta will serve as the Editor-in-chief of the journal.
Published bi-monthly, the Journal of Diabetes Investigation is the official journal of the Asian Association for the Study of Diabetes (AASD). The journal will publish both basic and clinical research in diabetes including a variety of original research, country reports, commentaries, reviews, mini-reviews, case reports, letters as well as editorials and news.
The journal will have an international editorial team of experts from the AASD countries and beyond, and will embrace clinical and experimental research in diabetes and its related areas. This includes aspects of prevention, treatment, education, nutrition, metabolic risk, psychosocial and socio-economic research, as well as molecular aspects and pathophysiology.
