Wiley later became a leader in scientific, technical, medical and scholarly subject areas, publishing over 450 Nobel laureates. In the 20th century, the company expanded further to become a leader in higher education and professional learning. Over these 210 years, Wiley has been at the forefront of the industrial age, the technology age, and the present emergence of the knowledge-based economy.
