Publisher John Wiley and Sons, Inc. welcomes BookExpo America (BEA) 2015 guests of honour, the delegation of China, on May 26-29, 2015. As a longstanding partner with China, Wiley will join the three-day New York City conference in highlighting the country's market growth and influence in the global publishing industry.

On May 27, Wiley Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Clay Stobaugh will join Vice Minister of China's State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television Wu Shangzi and China Publishing and Media Holdings Co., Ltd. President Wang Tao on a panel discussing 'China's New Global Strategies and Outlook for the Publishing & Media Industry.' On May 28, Wiley will launch the English translation of the China National Audit Office (CNAO) Auditor General Liu Jiayi's Study on the Auditing Theory of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. The book provides first-hand guidance and insights into government auditing in China and will serve as useful resource for companies operating in the market.

Wiley's partnership with China dates back to 1979, when it became the first American publisher active in the country. Today, the company has offices in Beijing and Shanghai, and its collaboration extends across the research, education and professional training sectors.

In addition to publishing China's top research in its over 1600 scientific journals, Wiley has organized hundreds of journal author workshops to build research and publication skills among China's next generation of researchers. Wiley also licenses Simplified Chinese rights directly to Chinese publishers, while pursuing an aggressive program of publishing English language versions of Chinese book copyrights globally. In the professional development sector, Wiley is working with partners to build and distribute corporate training programs in career and leadership development as well as programs in fields such as finance.
