Publisher John Wiley & Sons, Inc, US, has announced that two young Thai chemists have been selected as the recipients of the Wiley-CST Award for Outstanding Publication 2008. The award was presented during the Pure and Applied Chemistry International Conference in Naresuan University, Phitsanulok, Thailand.
Jointly organised by John Wiley and the Chemical Society of Thailand (CST), the award is aimed at encouraging and recognising the original, innovative, and outstanding research of young Thai chemists working in the chemical sciences at the outset of their independent research careers. The award consists of $ 1,500 in cash and $ 500 in Wiley book vouchers (Wiley print books).
The CST is part of the Asian Chemical Editorial Network which co-owns and supports Chemistry - An Asian Journal, published by Wiley.
