Wiley enhances Mass Spectral Database with over 20,000 new spectra -

Wiley, a global leader in research and learning and one of the world's largest publishers, has announced a significant expansion of its Wiley Registry of Mass Spectral Data. Subscribers now have immediate access to an additional 22,408 spectra, increasing the total collection to an impressive 895,000 spectra.

The Wiley Registry is renowned for being one of the largest and most comprehensive high-quality mass spectral libraries available today. It serves as an essential laboratory standard for gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis, supporting a wide array of fields such as environmental science, forensics, toxicology, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and metabolomics. This latest expansion notably includes 220 spectra of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAs), which are compounds of significant environmental and health concern.

Wiley's comprehensive spectral database collections provide access to millions of high-quality spectra across various techniques, including infrared (IR), mass spectrometry (MS), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), Raman spectroscopy, and ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy. These resources are indispensable for the interpretation, identification, verification, and classification of spectra, aiding in the advancement of scientific research and innovation.

The Wiley Registry's vast and continuously growing repository ensures that scientists and researchers have access to the most up-to-date and relevant spectral data, facilitating groundbreaking work in their respective fields.
