Wiley expands KnowItAll Suite with advanced LC-MS tools, enhanced data management, and spectral innovations -

Wiley, a global leader in research and learning, has announced the release of KnowItAll 2025, the latest version of its powerful software suite for spectral analysis and analytical data management. This new version introduces significant advancements, including a revolutionary tool for automating LC-MS analysis, streamlined enterprise data management, and expanded spectral capabilities, making it a comprehensive solution for researchers and analysts.

A standout feature of KnowItAll 2025 is LC Expert, a tool designed to transform raw chromatograms into component identifications with a single click. Leveraging Wiley's extensive database collections, LC Expert enhances automated non-targeted and targeted spectral identification, significantly improving efficiency and accuracy.

Other key enhancements in KnowItAll 2025 include:

• New LC-MS Libraries: Access up to 5 million spectra based on selected databases, including the KnowItAll LC-MS Library with over 2.7 million spectra. Featured databases include:

• Wiley Registry of Tandem Mass Spectral Data

• Class-Rule Based Libraries for lipids, PFAS, and polymers

• Maurer, Meyer, Helfer, Weber’s LC-HR-MS/MS Library of Drugs, Poisons, and Metabolites (5,000+ spectra)

• Maurer, Wissenbach, Weber’s LC-MSn Library, 2nd Edition (13,000+ spectra)

• NIST MS/MS Library (2.3 million spectra), available in KnowItAll bundles

• KnowItAll Data Control: New capabilities for integrating access and version control allow organizations to securely collaborate and manage shared analytical databases.

• Streamlined GC-MS Workflow: Combines automatic deconvolution, peak picking, and manual analysis into a single unified application for more efficient gas chromatography-mass spectrometry workflows.

• Drug Classification Models: Developed to help forensic laboratories classify emerging drugs faster than reference data can be generated.

• Enhanced Raman Processing: New algorithms for fluorescence correction and cosmic ray removal improve Raman spectral quality.

• NMR Tool Improvements: Support for X-NMR and simplified chemical drawing with pre-defined substituents.

These enhancements underscore Wiley’s commitment to providing researchers with cutting-edge tools to optimize spectral analysis workflows. The KnowItAll suite's broad set of functionalities supports laboratories in achieving faster, more accurate results across multiple spectral techniques.
