Wiley, a global leader in research and learning, has migrated 1,000 scholarly journals—over half of its portfolio—to its Research Exchange platform, marking a major milestone in its publishing operations. This achievement underscores Wiley's commitment to building industry-leading solutions that prioritize research integrity, agile development, and a modern publishing infrastructure.
Research Exchange, Wiley's comprehensive scholarly publishing platform, combines submission, AI-powered screening, and peer review workflows into a unified system. The company reached this milestone after an ambitious migration program that began in December 2023.
The platform currently supports more than 350,000 users and applies 25 comprehensive checks during initial screening, completing the process in under 10 minutes and flagging potential issues for editorial review. In May 2025, its submission and screening tools received a Silver EPIC Award from the Society for Scholarly Publishing for excellence in research integrity tools.

Wiley is expanding engagement with editors and publishing partners through a Product Advisory Board and regular roundtable discussions. Feedback channels have generated more than 3,300 inputs, informing 46 platform updates so far in 2025.
