Publisher John Wiley & Sons, Inc has released five study-aid applications in conjunction with the launch of NOOK Apps for NOOK Color - The Readers Tablet from Barnes & Noble. The applications have been developed to leverage the strengths of the NOOK Color reading platform and to create a dynamic environment in which to interact with must-have information.
The apps include Basic Spanish For Dummies and Wiley CPA Exam Review Focus Notes. The Basic Spanish For Dummies app offers a one-way ticket to speaking Mexican Spanish. The app features flashcards that highlight common English-Spanish words and phrases, with audio playback; a Spanish-English and English-Spanish mini-dictionary, ideal for on-the-go reference; video tutorials with pronunciation help; and the rules for using formal and informal greetings and introductions.
The Wiley CPA Exam Review Focus Notes On-the-Go apps - FAR Notes; REG Notes; BEC Notes; and AUD Notes - will help students prepare for the CPA exam. Each of these four apps provides hundreds of study cards designed to help users to quickly and easily study for the exam wherever they are.
