Publisher John Wiley and Sons Inc. has announced the release of the Wiley Assessment Service - a key component of their next generation WileyPLUS product. This assessment-as-a-service offering draws upon hundreds of hours of user interviews and research, and will enable a seamless integration of Wiley's best-in-class content and assessments to WileyPLUS and to any other standards-based learning platforms.
By using the Wiley Assessment Service, educators will be able to administer course assignments by selecting from a pool of more than 2 million of Wiley's highly sought-after, accessible assets and more than a dozen unique question types, including Wiley's complex accounting and STEM questions. Learners will be able to access instructor designed assignments seamlessly from WileyPLUS as well as their school's learning management system, and receive immediate feedback for real time remediation. The user-friendly interface promotes an intuitive, efficient and engaging experience on any device.
The first release of the Wiley Assessment Service will connect to the WileyPLUS next generation product which has been in pilots since January 2018, and Canvas - the fastest growing learning management system in the educational market. Connections to Blackboard and Brightspace are planned for 2019.
