Healthcare information provider Wolters Kluwer Health (WK Health), US, has announced that several new improvements have been added to Sentri7, a web-based, enterprise-wide electronic surveillance application that helps hospital staff identify at-risk patients.
A new Report Administrator role has been created, with the ability to group together facilities by region or corporate structure in order to report on healthcare-associated infections across the IDN or health system level. Corporate leaders have visibility into multiple sites’ HAI and prevalence rates in real time on demand.
Designated administrators within Sentri7 can now edit other users’ rules and take ownership of clinical rules to help ease personnel changes.
Infection Prevention teams benefit from full support for National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) uploading capabilities for NICU and SCA reporting forms. They also have access to new features to add notes to reviewed cultures, and to delete and recover documents.
Sentri7 by Pharmacy OneSource combines medication, laboratory, patient, radiology and surgery data to facilitate earlier, better, and more consistent interventions. Accelerating workflows can lead to shorter lengths of stay, lower costs, improved patient safety and reduced antibiotic resistance.
