Wolper Subscription Services, which is engaged in the serials management industry for the past 30 years, has announced an exclusive partnership with e-resource access and management solutions provider TDNet, Inc., US. The partnership is designed to provide a one-stop solution that reduces cost and complexity and improves productivity for libraries and managers of corporate knowledge and information bases.
With this partnership, both companies seek to expand their offerings while maintaining a high quality of product and customer care. It also creates a collaborative environment, a co-mingling of ideas and experiences and technologies that will drive further development. Existing Wolper customers and new prospects alike will now be able to consolidate their subscription ordering and collection building using Wolper as their hub for all electronic ordering, access and e-resource management, along with the more traditional print business.
TDNet develops and markets advanced solutions for managing and accessing external and internal e-resources of institutions. All products are customised to requirements intending to minimise a library's workload while allowing numerous benefits to users. Partnerships with industry leaders are seen to complement TDNet's integrated suite of services: Searcher Analyzer federated search service; full text TOUResolver; Journal Manager; Holdings Manager; and the newly-released eBook Manager. Additional web services, integrated statistics, authentication and reference tools are also available. TDNet's service solution is claimed to be based on a premier knowledgebase of metadata for over 260,000 unique titles coupled with extensive experience in the information industry. Its global customer base includes national consortia, medical consortia, academic, research and special libraries, multinational corporations, and government agencies.
