Information and point-of-care solutions provider Wolters Kluwer Health and the American Pediatric Surgical Nurses Association (APSNA) have announced an agreement to publish the Journal of Pediatric Surgical Nursing. The journal is the official publication of the APSNA. The first issue of the quarterly online journal was recently posted at www.journalofpediatricsurgicalnursing.com.
The Journal of Pediatric Surgical Nursing covers all aspects of nursing care for children undergoing general surgery, including perioperative care, trauma, wound, ostomy and incontinence care. The journal features original research, reviews, commentary and other features on these and other topics of interest to nurses and advanced practice nurses and others involved in providing care for pediatric surgical patients.
Members of the APSNA will have full access to the journal as a benefit of membership. Individual and institutional subscriptions to the online journal will be available as well. Pediatric surgical nurses can submit original manuscripts at http://www.editorialmanager.com/jpsn.
