Wolters Kluwer Health, a global provider of information and point of care solutions for the healthcare industry, has announced that Jean-Claude Saghbini has joined its executive management team as vice president and chief technology officer. In this role, Saghbini will spearhead the Health division's technology strategy and roadmap including emerging technologies and innovations for healthcare professionals and patients.
Saghbini brings more than a decade of experience in healthcare technology. He was the chief technology officer of WaveMark, a successful Boston area startup that was acquired in 2013 by Cardinal Health. Saghbini led WaveMark's rapid technology growth from the early stage deployments to engagements in more than 40 countries with some of the largest hospitals and medical device manufacturers in the world. Most recently Saghbini served as general manager and chief technology officer for Cardinal Health Inventory Management Solutions - a portfolio of RFID-enabled solutions providing real-time traceability for medical devices to the point of care.
A thought leader in the industry, Saghbini has secured multiple patents in healthcare technology, and is an invited expert speaker and panelist worldwide on various healthcare and technology topics.
