Information services provider Wolters Kluwer Health, US, has announced its ongoing support for the academic community through the 2013 Award of Excellence in Clinical Communication, an annual honour for exceptional pharmacy students. Recognising the ever-growing importance of strong communication skills in clinicians, Wolters Kluwer Health is currently accepting nominations from pharmacy schools of high-achieving 2013 graduates with outstanding aptitude in written and verbal communication.
The 2013 award is facilitated by Wolters Kluwer Health brands Facts & Comparisons and Lexicomp. The award is available to one qualifying student per US-based, ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy. Eligible students must be a 2013 graduate in the top 25 percent of his or her graduating class who has demonstrated superior verbal and written communication skills.
Each confirmed award recipient will receive a personalised award certificate, a complimentary 1-year subscription to Facts & Comparisons eAnswers online drug reference, and a complimentary 1-year subscription to Lexi-COMPLETE drug information mobile app. Submissions will only be accepted via an online form.
