Information services and publishing company Wolters Kluwer, Netherlands, has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Satin as Senior Vice President and head of Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) North America. Satin succeeds Bruce Lenz, who will retire in May 2009.
Elizabeth brings to the role a highly relevant industry background combined with a deep knowledge of and experience with different types of transactions in the media and information industry. She will be leading the company's M&A activities in North America.
In her new role, Satin will report to Boudewijn Beerkens, CFO and Member of the Executive Board of Wolters Kluwer.
