Wolters Kluwer names new CEO for Health division -

Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of professional information, software, and services, has appointed Greg Samios as Chief Executive Officer of its Health division, effective 1 June 2025. Samios succeeds Stacey Caywood, who joined the company’s Executive Board earlier this month.

With over twenty-five years of experience in the healthcare sector, Samios most recently served as Executive Vice President of the Health division’s two largest business units: Clinical Effectiveness and Health Learning, Research, and Practice. In these roles, he contributed to the growth of Wolters Kluwer’s leading clinical decision support and drug information products, including UpToDate and Medi-Span. His tenure also included the introduction of generative AI into the company’s healthcare offerings and the establishment of partnerships with prominent digital health firms.

Samios previously held the role of Executive Vice President of the Legal & Regulatory U.S. business at Wolters Kluwer. Before joining the company, he held several health-focused positions at Elsevier. He holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in engineering from the University of Rochester.

The company’s CEO and Chair of the Executive Board expressed confidence in Samios’s ability to lead the Health division through innovation and growth in a rapidly evolving market.

Wolters Kluwer Health serves healthcare professionals globally with technology solutions, evidence-based tools, and support for life-long learning.
