Information services and publishing company Wolters Kluwer, Netherlands, has announced the appointment of Robert Becker as President and CEO Wolters Kluwer Health, effective November 1, 2008. Becker is currently CEO of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business. Stacey Caywood will be appointed President and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business (US).
In his new position, Becker will report to Nancy McKinstry, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Wolters Kluwer. Becker has been global CEO of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business since July 2003. Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer, he was CEO of Jupiter-MediaMetrix. His rich leadership experience in the global media and information services industry includes 13 years at the Thomson Corporation.
Wolters Kluwer Health is a leading provider of information and business intelligence for students, professionals and institutions in medicine, nursing, allied health, pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry.
