Wolters Kluwer releases cloud-based Reference Data Management solution within its Health Language platform -

The Health division of Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of information and point of care solutions for the healthcare industry, has announced the release of a cloud-based Reference Data Management (RDM) solution within its Health Language® platform. The new RDM offering provides the data management infrastructure needed to establish a single source of truth, enable interoperability, and optimise analytics for regulatory and value-based programs.

Healthcare organisations are increasingly turning to RDM as a best-practice strategy for managing and using growing volumes of clinical and claims data to navigate evolving regulatory initiatives such as the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) and the 21st Century Cures Act. A function of Master Data Management, RDM addresses data variability across the industry's wide array of disparate healthcare terminologies and codes.

The new RDM solution enhances existing analytics and data warehouse investments by offering a flexible cloud-based approach for managing reference data. The Health Language platform provides the content, applications, web-based APIs and consulting services.
