Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of information and point of care solutions for the healthcare industry, and The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the global leader in orthopaedic surgical education, have announced the launch of the AAOS’s official open access journal, JAAOS: Global Research & Reviews. The journal will serve as the companion title to the most read journal by orthopaedic surgeons, Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (JAAOS).
JAAOS: Global Research & Reviews will critically evaluate and synthesise up-to-date information on the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions, reflecting the current state of orthopaedic practice and patient care. The journal intends to publish review articles, research articles and clinical trials, surgical techniques, case reports, and commentary for the benefit of orthopaedic surgeons at all levels of their careers, from residency on, as well as orthopaedic researchers and healthcare professionals with an interest in orthopaedics.
The journal will be under the leadership of Dr. William N. Levine, Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Jeffrey S. Fischgrund, Research Editor, and the entire editorial board of JAAOS. All submitted manuscripts will undergo the same rigorous peer review and strong ethical standards which have helped maintain the standing of JAAOS as the world’s top journal in orthopaedics.
JAAOS: Global Research & Reviews is now open for manuscript submissions.
