World Scientific launches Climate Change Economics journal -

Academic and scholarly publisher World Scientific Publishing Company (WSPC), Singapore, has announced the launch of The Climate Change Economics journal. Dr. Robert Mendelsohn from Yale University will serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal.

The Climate Change Economics journal claims to be the first in this field to analyse the mitigation, adaptation and impact of issues related to policy and management of greenhouse gases. It will address many of the concerns of climate change, especially economical implications.

The first issue of the journal is scheduled to be published by April 2010. Apart from its renowned Editor-in-Chief, the journal also boasts an influential bench of editorial team members. This includes Dr. Carlo Carraro (Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM)), Dr. Larry Goulder (Stanford University), Dr. Charles Kolstad (University of California - Santa Barbara), Dr. William Nordhaus (Yale University), Dr. Richard Richels (Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), USA), Dr. Daigee Shaw (Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research), Dr. Thomas Scheilling (University of Maryland), Dr. Robert Stavins (Harvard University), Dr. Richard Tol (Economic and Social Research Institute, Dublin) and Dr. Martin Weitzman (Harvard University).
