World Scientific Publishing Company selects Atypon Literatum as new publishing platform -

Atypon, a provider of software to the publishing and media industry, has announced that scientific publisher World Scientific Publishing Company has selected Literatum as its new publishing platform.

Literatum will allow World Scientific to bring together all of its content products on a single platform for the first time. When it launches, the next generation WorldSciNet platform will enable researchers to search and browse a library of 85,000 journal articles, 4,000 books, and 1,000 conference proceedings.

Professional and scholarly publishers are using the Literatum platform to manage, deliver and monetise their digital content. Publishing organisations such as JSTOR, the American Chemical Society, de Gruyter, and Annual Reviews are using Literatum to provide controlled access to journals, books, reference works, and other types of publications.
