Academic and scholarly publisher World Scientific Publishing Company is set to publish the International Journal of Air-conditioning and Refrigeration (IJACR). Professor Nae Hyun Kim of the University of Incheon, Korea, will serve as the Editor-in-chief of the journal. He will be supported by an editorial board consisting of renowned academics/researchers from the field.
The journal claims to be the only international journal in the field of air-conditioning and refrigeration in Asia. The journal's reports researches on the equipments for controlling indoor environment and cooling/refrigeration. It includes broad range of applications and underlying theories including fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and nano/bio-related technologies. In addition, IJACR covers future energy technologies, such as fuel cell, wind turbine, solar cell/heat and geothermal energy.
IJACR was previously published by the Society of Air-Conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers of Korea. The first World Scientific issue is scheduled to be published by June 2010.
