CoursePacks and custom textbooks provider XanEdu Publishing Inc, US, has launched an iPad publishing programme. The move, conducted in concert with several major institutions in North America and Harvard Business School Publishing, is expected to allow students and instructors greater flexibility in accessing course materials.
Instructors will use the XanEdu CoursePack Management System to publish materials that students will then be able to access on an iPad. This capability is in addition to being fully integrated into popular learning management systems on campus. XanEdu's iPad platform also enables students to take and share notes for a more collaborative, engaging learning experience.
The launch of XanEdu's iPad coursepack publishing programme is the beginning of the deliverables phase of the company's recent strategic technology plan. Over the next three months, XanEdu will also launch a new website that includes enhanced publishing features.
