The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers has announced Zoe Harris from Trinity Mirror will be the keynote speaker at the 2016 ALPSP Conference and Awards. Her presentation is entitled 'What can scholarly publishing learn from what newspapers have been through and where they are going?'
Newspapers play an incredibly important role in public life and British society, but they are a challenged market. The industry is facing disruption. The changing shape of Britain is influencing content and the delivery of content. Join Zoe Harris on September 14, 2016, to find out how Trinity Mirror plc is determined to innovate to find ways to future proof their brands for future generations, and, how the world of scholarly publishing can learn from this.
Zoe is Group Marketing Director at Trinity Mirror where she heads up marketing, analytics, insight and corporate communications across many power news brands. She works closely with editors to ensure advertisers and consumers alike understand and value their unique place in increasingly fragmented media markets. Prior to this role she worked at WCRS as lead strategist on Sky, as Marketing & On-air Director at MTV, and in roles at ITV and the Guardian.
The ALPSP Conference runs from September 14-16 at the Park Inn Hotel, London Heathrow, UK. Interested parties may visit http://www.alpsp.org/Conference/ to check out the full programme and for registration details.
